As a person living with a chronic medical condition, it is important for you to be aware you have an increased risk for developing mood, anxiety, and cognitive disorders. It is important to let your doctor or healthcare provider here at Midway Specialty Care Center know if you have noticed any changes in the way you are thinking or how you are feeling about yourself or your life, so that they can refer you to our Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) for an assessment and/or counseling.

Palmer Holliday is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 25 years of experience in the Human Services field. Palmer attended the University of Alabama and Barry University in Miami, where she completed her Masters in Social Work. Palmer has worked in a variety of therapeutic settings with many diverse populations. Her experience includes providing mental health counseling and case management services in both inpatient and outpatient facilities, as well as in the hospital setting. Recognizing and understanding the persistent struggles faced by persons living with chronic illness, Palmer holds a strong interest in working with these patients to help them cope with their life challenges and improve their emotional, psychological and social well-being.
