Midway Specialty Care Center is proud to partner in our Tampa Office with Dr. Michael Dunn, a certified member of the American Association of HIV Medicine and Fellowship Trained in Infectious Diseases. Dr. Dunn specializes in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases, with an emphasis on HIV and Hepatitis.
Dr. Dunn has been an integral part of the HIV care in the Tampa Bay area for over 20 years and is highly respected in his field. Dr. Dunn received his medical degree from University of Tennessee College of Medicine.
Our mission is to provide integrated quality and affordable primary care and pharmaceutical services to patients living with an infectious disease. Midway Specialty Care Center strives to enhance access to treatment for all patients living with chronic diseases, Hepatitis and HIV. We are proud to announce we are bringing specialty care closer to home for our patients living in Broward, Hillsborough, Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee, Orange, Pinellas, and St. Lucie counties.

Jonathan Albers, MMS, PA-C, MS
Jonathan Albers is a Physician Assistant who recently joined our Tampa location to work and help serve the patients in Tampa and the surrounding area. He obtained his BS from Southern Illinois University Carbondale. He has a MS in Biology from Purdue University. He obtained his MMS in Physician Assistant Studies from Lincoln Memorial University in Tennessee. He previously has also served on the Student Board of Directors for the American Academy of PAs in the past by serving as the 2017-18 Southeast Regional Director. He has a strong passion for care of LGBTQ+ community, HIV care, and PrEP for HIV prevention. His goals are to expand and promote the health and well being of those living with HIV, educate individuals about HIV to help reduce stigma, and to work to help prevent HIV transmission. He loves to travel, explore new food opportunities, and spending time enjoying all that Florida has to offer. He is gladly accepting new patients at the Tampa location.
